I’ve always rooted for the underdog, and that instinct drives my work today. When someone is injured through no fault of their own, they’re immediately at a disadvantage against big insurance companies. After starting my career on the insurance side, I found my true calling more than a decade ago—standing up for people, not corporations. Representing the injured is where my passion and purpose meet.
I’ve practiced law in Mississippi for over twenty years. I earned my undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and my law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. I’m a graduate of the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum and have served as attorney for the Civil Service Commission for the City of Meridian since 2014, as well as a prosecutor for cases on appeal in County Court.
I’m active in my community, having served on the boards of the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, the Mississippi Center for Legal Services, and the Mississippi Association for Justice. I’ve also served as Clerk of the Vestry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Above all, I’m the proud father of three children: Robert, Drew, and Sarah.
